The Dr. Richard Group is the largest private, owner-operated bus company in the German-speaking world. The family-run company has been running passenger transport services of the highest standard for over 90 years now.
Dr Richard Kärnten, headquartered at Seebacher Allee 16 in Villach, now employs 95 people and has a fleet of almost 50 buses.
On top of offering excursion trips with coaches as well as coordinating interregional bus routes in the Gail Valley between Villach and Hermagor, in the Gurk Valley between Deutsch-Griffen and Althofen and also in Klagenfurt, the newly introduced BUS:SI services in the city area have been running every 30 minutes for the first time since summer 2022 in collaboration with the city of Villach as the contracting authority. Hofstätter Reisen has a workforce of around 100 employees at present and is always on the lookout for motivated and reliable people. The number of drivers, in particular, is constantly increasing.
